What does a New Business Executive do at Hogarth?

The Role

The New Business Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the dynamic and fast-paced operations of the Growth Team. Reporting into the Senior New Business Manager, the role will involve working closely with key Hogarth stakeholders, collaborating with local office and client MDs. The role is ideal for someone who is looking to build on their understanding of the industry and new business processes whilst gaining exposure to the Hogarth and WPP wider networks.

You will take ownership of the day-to-day administration of the team, coordinating various activities with minimal oversight, from maintaining the Hogarth Growth Hub with up-to-date presentations and credentials, to tracking global new business activity. You will independently coordinate smaller RFI responses (at least two per quarter), ensuring information is sourced, accurate, and submitted on time, create Teams sites and help to track action items. Your contribution to the Growth Team’s best-practice ways of working will ensure we are always performing to the highest standards.

This position requires a proactive, detail-orientated, and highly organised individual with excellent communications skills, and a keen interest to learn about the industry and the latest Hogarth capabilities.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Responsible for day-to-day administration of the New Business team, including monitoring activity on the New Business Tracker, generating monthly reporting and facilitating status meetings.
  • Proactively maintain the New Business Growth Hub by collaborating with SMEs, ensuring it's strategically useful, up-to-date, and aligned with brand and market relevance.
  • Support the pitch and RFI/RFP process by researching and collating information for submission, creating and maintaining Teams sites, and tracking action items against project plans.
  • Contribute to the development of best-practice operations and processes within the New Business team.
  • Complete tasks efficiently and with full accountability, producing high quality work with some direction
  • Prioritise tasks based on deadlines, urgency, and complexity.
  • Learn and apply project management techniques (e.g., project plans, RACIs) to support improved pitch workflows
  • Manage tasks and deliverables with oversight from more senior team members on larger projects
  • Proactive coordination of all the details throughout assigned project to ensure that all action-items and next steps are accomplished in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develop strong and lasting relationships with key internal stakeholders across teams.
  • Provide support to local markets by supplying necessary collateral for pitches (eg. recent decks, relevant case studies)
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the full breadth of Hogarth’s capabilities and service offerings.

Requirements

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or highly motivated individual seeking to begin their career in growth, working for one of the world's largest production companies.

  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels within Hogarth.
  • Natural ability to multitask with a keen attention to detail.
