What does an AI Content Artist do at Hogarth?
Hogarth is seeking a highly skilled, visionary, and innovative AI Content Artist to join our dynamic creative, studio, and post-production teams. This pivotal role requires a multi-talented professional with exceptional expertise in leveraging artificial intelligence tools for image and video generation, narrative storytelling, and the conceptualization of compelling advertising pieces, combined with hands-on experience in live-action shooting, video editing, and a deep understanding of digital and social media content trends.
You will be responsible for driving innovation through cutting-edge AI technologies while maintaining a strong foundation in art direction, audiovisual narrative, and advertising creativity. You will also be a key player in hands-on content creation, from operating cameras and lighting to executing polished edits. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, producers, and clients to ideate, shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality, visually compelling advertising materials across various formats and durations, ensuring excellence in execution and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize generative AI tools (e.g., MidJourney, Runway, LTX, ComfyUI, etc.) to create, animate, and enhance innovative visual assets, images, and videos for advertising campaigns
- Experiment with AI technologies to push creative boundaries, produce original and impactful imagery, and seamlessly integrate AI-generated assets with traditional post-production elements and live-action footage
- Actively contribute to video and still photo shoots, taking a lead or supportive role in the preparation and on-set execution, whether on location or in the studio
- Edit audiovisual advertising and corporate pieces using advanced standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and motion graphics
- Adapt existing content to various durations, formats, and platforms (e.g., social media, TV, digital)
- Perform tracking, compositing, VFX integration, and execute color correction and grading to ensure consistent visual quality and brand identity
- Assist producers with project archiving and collaborate with technical operations for proper delivery of masters and gathering of project assets
- Lead the creative development of advertising animatics, including concept ideation, visual storytelling, and overall artistic direction
- Provide creative input on editing and narrative structure to craft compelling advertising stories
- Design and incorporate dynamic motion graphics and animations into audiovisual projects to enhance storytelling and engagement
- Collaborate closely with clients, directors, producers, and internal teams to ensure alignment with project goals and brand identity
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and ensuring all deliverables adhere to technical specifications and quality standards
- Create visually stunning presentations to pitch ideas and concepts to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating creative visions
- Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, social media trends, capabilities, and post-production techniques to continuously innovate and improve processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in a professional collaborative creative environment, ideally focused on the production, creative, or post-production of videos and advertising content
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in editing, AI-generated content, motion graphics, live-action shooting, and storytelling
- Proven track record in generating images and videos using AI tools for advertising or creative projects
- Essential: Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Generative AI Tools (e.g., MidJourney, Runway, LTX, ComfyUI, or similar platforms)
- Preferred: DaVinci Resolve (for advanced color correction and grading), Cinema 4D or Blender (for advanced motion graphics and 3D animation), and Presentation Tools (PowerPoint, Keynote, or equivalent)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to adapt content to different formats and durations for diverse platforms
- Understanding of VFX workflows, including tracking, compositing, and color correction
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Strong desire to be a part of a team, grow and learn from those around you, but also able to work independently
- Comfortable being flexible and adapting working styles based on the specific needs of a project
- Influence from outside interests and hobbies encouraged
