Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Director to join our Transport Advisory team and play a key role in shaping the future of Aotearoa’s transport landscape. This senior position offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership, build client relationships and influence some of the largest transport projects across the country.
How you’ll make a difference
- Lead and provide technical advisory services for Transport Advisory and broader Advisory projects, contributing nationally with technical leadership and support across multiple regions.
- Act as Project Director and/or Lead Verifier on key projects, ensuring strong governance and acting as a trusted point of escalation for clients.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key clients including Waka Kotahi, Auckland Transport and Auckland Council, while identifying new opportunities and aligning with client needs.
- Support the preparation of proposals, development of delivery methodologies, and identification of project requirements to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Mentor and coach team members within Transport Advisory, supporting their professional growth and development of technical capability.

- Over 20 years’ experience in transport advisory or related sectors, delivering high-profile and complex projects.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field; postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in project governance, client relationship management and business case development.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach, with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships at all levels
