Job Position Summary: Provides administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the finance and quality departments.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Strong attention to details
- Organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Time Management Skills
- Ability to multi-task, and pivot from one task to another
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
- Ability to work well with other employees.
- Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to safety regulation and standard. Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required.
- Provides general administrative support such as scanning documents, organizing and filing.
- Utilize various scanning equipment to convert physical documents into digital formats
- Checks for accuracy and clarity, performing regular audits to maintain high standards
- Prepares documents for scanning by removing staples, sorting, and organizing them to ensure optimal scanning conditions.
- Index and classify scanned documents according to established system for easy retrieval and access.
- Ensure physical documents are disposed of properly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust, and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts.
- Will travel back and forth between Southwick and Westfield facilities.
Physical Requirements:
- May have to lift up to twenty (20) pounds at a time, as required.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk working on a computer.
- Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
