Job Description
Role Summary
As the VP of Product Management, you will be the right-hand leader to our Chief Product Officer, to help set the overall product strategy and vision. You will be responsible for translating that strategy into an actionable product roadmap and leading the team to deliver on it with excellence.
You are a master of execution, an inspiring people leader, and the engine that will drive our product organization forward and create cross-functional alignment. This role is critical to accelerating our growth, scaling our team, and delivering a world-class event management platform to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Roadmap Execution & Delivery: You will own the product roadmap from planning to execution, ensuring tight alignment with the CPO and the strategic product vision. You'll lead a team to drive the quarterly planning process, define key initiatives, and manage priorities to ensure timely delivery of customer value.
- Team Leadership & Development: You will lead, mentor, and scale our high-performing team of Product Managers. You will foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement, focused on developing "A players" who are obsessed with solving customer problems.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: You will serve as the primary product counterpart to leaders in Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Services, and Support, ensuring clear communication and seamless collaboration across the entire product lifecycle.
- Product Performance & KPIs: You will define, monitor, and own the key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product portfolio. You'll champion a data-driven culture to guide decision-making and objectively measure the impact of your team's work.
- Strategic Partnership: You will serve as a key strategic thought partner to the CPO, providing critical input into the product vision, competitive positioning, and portfolio strategy based on market feedback and team insights.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g. Director, VP) at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
- Proven success in leading and scaling product teams, with a passion for mentorship and a track record of developing top talent.
- Deep expertise in agile methodologies, roadmap planning, market research, and product execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to build alignment with executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
- A player-coach mentality; you can guide strategic discussions one moment and dive into tactical details the next.
- Passion for leading a customer-obsessed product culture, translating their voice into valuable (and successful) products.
- Bonus Points: Experience with platform-as-a-service (PaaS) strategies, integrating acquired technologies, or working within/around event manage
