Summary: As a Research and Development Engineer Intern at The H-J Family of Companies, you will gain hands-on experience working with our engineering and product development teams. This role provides exposure to the entire innovation process—from initial design concepts to prototyping and testing—while supporting the creation of new products and processes that power global industries. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where your ideas and problem-solving skills can help shape the future of power distribution.

Projects You Will Work On:

• Create models and detailed drawings of design concepts.
• Build prototypes of new product ideas.
• Assist in development and testing of new products and processes.
• Research new technologies and summarize findings for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers on cross-functional projects.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a minimum of two years in an Engineering program (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Experience in building, prototyping, and/or machining is a plus.
