Job Description

As our new Head of Fulfillment, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the order fulfillment process, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of orders. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of logistics, inventory management and network infrastructure. You will also be responsible for regularly reviewing and maintaining the fulfillment network to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your goal is to optimize fulfillment operations to meet customer expectations and support business growth.

To do so, you will define the overall fulfillment strategy, including target setting for trade and network configuration.

  • Establish guardrails for sustainability, master data management, risk and compliance, and inventory policies.
  • Define technology landscape guardrails (e.g., data hosting in Europe) and business requirements for technology solutions.

You’ll give guidance to the Local Supply Chain Operations by supporting managers in resolving operational challenges and optimizing resource allocation and ensure local supply chain operations adhere to central policies, procedures, plans and compliance requirements.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of local supply chain operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between local supply chain managers and central leadership, ensuring that local insights and feedback are incorporated into strategic planning.

To oversee and optimize the structure of the supply chain network in Transport, Warehousing and Handling, you will align capacity needs with carriers, book transport and schedule allocated carriers.

Moreover, you will make sure there is adequate Document Management & Trade Compliance by overseeing control restrictions (e.g., embargoed countries, denied parties), manage duties of trade agreements, long-term supplier/vendor declarations, etc. Also, you will

  • Create, process, and manage sales orders based on customer demand, create and manage stock transfer orders and monitor deliveries, including updates on dates, products, and quantities.
  • Coordinate import and export customs clearance, including necessary  documentation.
  • Ensure availability of required documents for order processing.

Overall, your General Responsibilities include Leadership, leading, mentoring and developing a team of supply chain professionals - as well as building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and

  • Facilitate smooth communication within fulfillment pillar, stakeholders and SC planning based on structures and clear responsibilities.
  • Provide guidance and support to management in decision-making processes by conducting thorough analysis and presenting actionable insights.
  • Prepare and present reports on team performance, project status and KPI’s.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans

About You

To be successful in this challenging role, you will bring at least a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, and 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Furthermore, you have

  • Proven experience in managing supply chains within a divers manufacturing environment
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to drive change in a positive way.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Habe proficiency in supply chain management software and tools

  •  You’ll report directly to European Supply Chain Director and act as a key voice in shaping the future of ICL’s supply chain network across Europe.
