About The Role
Role Purpose
Key Responsibilities
- As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for assessing the effectiveness of Security and Loss Prevention policies and procedures through compliance auditing
- Develop, implement and handle security awareness programs that contribute to the prevention and reduction of fraudulent losses while promoting team member safety and security throughout the workplace
- Initiate investigations based on the analysis of loss trends, internal reports and input from other informational sources
- Lead and develop a security team of 13 direct reports
- Develop and maintain face-to-face working relationships with the business operations and People Teams
- Serve as primary point of contact for law enforcement agencies and other government entities during security related incidents
- Consult and coordinate efforts with Legal, People Team, Internal Quality and Compliance and other company personnel, vendors and outside regulatory and law enforcement agencies to ensure safety measures are upheld and revised as needed in support of RS business needs.
- Mail Room operations (receiving, sorting, distributing incoming and outgoing mail and packages)
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership skills to train, supervise, and motivate security staff.
- Ability to analyze and implement security procedures and policies.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and investigative skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact with executive suite, vendors, and external agencies.
- Ability to make quick and sound decisions impacting personnel and company assets
- Clear and consistent messaging on policy updates with an emphasis on an open-door approach to address concerns
Desirable Skills & Experience
- CPR and first aid certified
- Knowledge of FTZ site security protocol
- Surveillance camera monitoring expertise (camera placement, record retrieval and management)
Essential Qualifications
- Associate’s degree and 4 or more years of responsible experience in security, military, law enforcement and/or business management, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
- Previous experience in security management or a related field.
Org Structure
Reporting directly to the VP of People and Culture and has a team of 13 direct reports.
