The Sustainability Reporting team is a growing department within the CFO function, operating under Financial Controlling. It currently consists of two highly skilled and dedicated professionals who play a critical role in driving excellence in sustainability reporting. Responsible for delivering best in class sustainability reporting that balances both speed and quality. The team ensures the efficient management, compliance, and operational control of the sustainability reporting process.
This is a full-time position, open for candidates that are based in Oslo.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
As a Sustainability Finance Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare quarterly and annual sustainability reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to EU Taxonomy, CSRD/ESRS, and GRESB requirements.
- Consolidate and validate ESG data (emissions, energy, water, and social KPIs) from local sustainability teams, improving data quality and ensuring audit readiness.
- Coordinate with local teams to improve data quality, drive alignment with reporting frameworks, and recommend improvements.
- Support sustainability linked financing and bond reporting by tracking KPIs and ensuring reliable allocation and impact reporting.
- Align sustainability-linked KPIs with financial reporting structures (CapEx, OpEx, revenue) to ensure consistency across financial and sustainability disclosures
- Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal requirements.
- Support to ad hoc projects within financial and sustainability controlling to drive process integration and efficiency.
Qualifications
To be our dream candidate, you:
- Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline
- 2-3 years of experience from Big 4 in Audit with exposure to sustainability assurance
- Experience from working with relevant frameworks within Financial and sustainability reporting meeting corporate compliance requirements
- Solid IT knowledge and interest in reporting systems. Experience from working with projects and process development
- Strong skills in 365 office (notably excel and PowerPoint)
