(CEN) NEW CEMENTING AGENTS INTERN

Semester(s): 5th – 10th semester

Degree(s): Nanotechnology Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Industrial Chemist

Project Objective: Development of cementing materials with a low CO2 footprint, using digital tools and artificial intelligence for these developments.

Challenges for the Student: Development of laboratory analytical techniques, handling of laboratory equipment, review of applicable regulations in the area, generation of technical reports, and data analysis.

Main Responsibilities and Activities to be Performed:

• Preparation of laboratory samples
• Characterization of materials using techniques such as XRF, XRD, TGA, etc.
• Preparation of reports
• Data analysis using Excel, Origin, Minitab
• Literature and patent review
• Review and use of AI tools

Skills, Competencies, And/Or Knowledge Required:

• Knowledge of chemical analytical techniques and handling of laboratory equipment
• Data analysis

• Internship Period at CEMEX: 6 months with an option for renewal.
