Your Role:

Responsible for the performance and results of the distribution operations. Develops and provides leadership for managers, staff, and business support functions. Fully responsible for ensuring on time delivery of fulfillment operations while driving a world class safety culture. Accountable for performance using operational excellence and lean methodologies on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Leads organizational and cultural transformation within the distribution operations.
  • Develop and led change management within the organization.
  • Defines distribution objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Develops, sets, and maintains distribution strategy.
  • Prepares and monitors distribution budget, including merit increase planning.
  • Plans, executes capital budgets to improve operations.
  • Coaches managers on their yearly goals and objectives.
  • Lead and teach continuous improvement system.
  • Provide leadership to ensure a positive environment where employees can thrive in and develop.
  • Develop PDSAs and monitors them with single page reports.
  • Enforces safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Enforces company safety policies and programs.
  • Exude strong program management skills and maintain a pulse on progress while addressing and adapting to real-time risks and issues.
  • Coordinate site response to emergency situations.
  • Ensures work is completed within Federal and International regulations.
  • Resolve and maintain excellent employee relations through effective communication (including regular performance reviews and discipline) for the department.
  • Participate in developing HR policies specific to the department.
  • Attract, develop, and retain talent for the department.
  • Works on extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variables. Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Responsible for maintaining and reporting monthly metrics of business results.
  • Identify and groom top talent for succession planning.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires 5+ years of experience in operations (e.g., supply chain, retail, restaurant, production) with a Bachelor's degree, or 8 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer warehouse and distribution experience
  • Prefer experience managing larger teams (50+)

Pay Range for this position: $169,800 – $254,800 

Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data. Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors.  This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k)-matching program; paid time off; and paid holidays; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses.
