Job Description

As a Franchise Property & Leasing Manager, you’ll be at the heart of Aussie’s retail footprint—over 215 stores strong and growing. From identifying the next great franchise location to overseeing sleek, on-brand store fit-outs, you’ll play a critical role in making sure every Aussie store looks and feels right.

You won’t do it alone – you’ll partner closely with the Head of Distribution Network and GM of Network Development, and be backed by Franchise Property Coordinators. Together, you’ll deliver end-to-end property solutions that keep our franchisees happy and our brand shining.

Part-time (3 days per week), 12-month maternity leave cover – suitable for people seeking project-driven impact without the demands of a full-time schedule.

What You’Ll Do:

• Spot the next big opportunity – identify and greenlight new sites and relocations that fit our market growth strategy.
• Champion our franchisees by guiding them through leasing negotiations and ensuring zoning compliance.
• Bring stores to life – partner with retail designers to craft floor plans and manage the full build process from concept to completion.
• Keep projects on track by managing workflows, SLAs, and seamless communication across all stakeholders.
• Nurture strong supplier relationships while delivering regular performance insights and fresh ideas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in commercial property and retail store builds—you know how to pick the right site and bring a design to life.
• Sharp negotiation and influencing skills, especially when it comes to leases and supplier partnerships.
• A natural communicator and collaborator who can work seamlessly with franchisees, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
• Super organised and adaptable—able to juggle multiple projects without breaking a sweat.
• A problem-solver at heart, always looking for smarter, better ways to get things done.
• Flexibility to work part-time (3 days per week) while making a real impact over this 12-month maternity leave cover.
