Estimator - Metal Roofing

Responsibilities And Duties

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for construction projects, utilizing software such as Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam Revu, and other construction estimating tools.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and related documents to determine all necessary labor, material, and time requirements.
• Develop and present comprehensive material and project cost estimates to clients and management.
• Negotiate with clients to agree on project scope, pricing, and timing.
• Prepare and submit bids and proposals for projects.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all estimates and bids.
• Ensure all estimates are compliant with company price pages, standard details, and job specifications.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, clients, and internal teams throughout the estimating process.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Proven Experience in reading and interp[eting technical documents to include drawings, specifications, blueprints, etc.
• Experience as an Estimator, preferably within the commercial construction or roofing industry a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating software, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu and/or Topview estimating software is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting estimates and bids to both clients and internal management.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and manage client relationships.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
