PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (when up to speed)
- Manage the receiving, stocking, and organization of all office furniture hardware components in the stockroom.
- Fulfill internal parts requests by accurately pulling, preparing, and distributing hardware to the production team to meet manufacturing schedules.
- Verify the accuracy of hardware specifications on production work orders and Bills of Materials (BOM) to prevent errors and delays.
- Monitor inventory levels, perform regular cycle counts, and maintain precise records in the inventory management system.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to place purchase orders to ensure a timely supply of materials, preventing stock shortages.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for hardware, collaborating with production, design and purchasing teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience within office furniture manufacturing and / or inventory coordination,
- Energetic and enthusiastic attitude, thriving in a collaborative team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Works with a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
- Communicates effectively in English, both in writing and verbally.
