About The Role

Senior Directors are an all-around senior strategist with depth and expertise in business, social and operations, with a strong understanding of how brands grow in the Social Age. You have experience from multiple categories, and across brands in different stages of growth, with a specific focus on B2B. And you are also a true social-first subject matter expert. You are comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, international work environment. You can adapt to a changing brief. You can handle high volume, high-touch work, and you can connect the dots across the complete journey to think through every touchpoint from purchase to loyalty and advocacy. You constantly try to explore what’s next in the world of brand building. You can pitch bold new ideas and frameworks to global CMOs. You know who won the last Film Grand Prix at Cannes and who’s best on LinkedIn and TikTok. You love to work at the speed of real time trends and opportunities. 

What You’Ll Do

  • Be the “go-to” thought leader and expert in social media for a large, integrated B2B client with a focus on professional services  
  • Partner with the integrated team to deliver social-first executions and ideas within larger campaign structures  
  • Collaborate with client and internal marketing and sales/business development teams to align social strategy with business objectives and client acquisition, retention, and engagement  
  • Lead innovation and implementation of key strategic frameworks in social and brand strategy with the ability to develop end-to-end solutions with social at heart 
  • Develop social strategies with specific focus on leveraging social media for demand generation, lead nurturing, and connecting social efforts directly to sales pipelines 
  • Oversee quality and development of creative (concept) briefs and briefings as well as asset briefs to meet modern marketing needs 
  • Develop thought leadership and build trust and credibility within a professional services context 
  • Enable ongoing education and training of agency teams and serve as an ambassador with social platforms 
  • Be a trusted client strategy partner – this means pushing, not following and opening doors that lead to change 
  • Be an inspirational leader within the agency, being able to partner with strategy, creative, media and operations leadership to steer the business  

What You’Ll Need

  • 12+ years of experience 
  • Significant B2B experience with specific emphasis on professional services clients or the industry at large 
  • Ability to think from a consumer and B2B lens to show connection points  
  • Strong understanding of and experience with B2B social platforms like LinkedIn 
  • Proven successful collaboration with complex internal teams 
  • Proven history of developing strategies and driving social work that delivers against B2B related goals including demand gen, lead nurturing, or connecting social efforts directly to sales 
  • Deep understanding of data analytics, paid social, organic social, social commerce, creative campaigns and activations, and earned media 
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills. Ability to write and deliver persuasive presentations both internally and externally  
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to interpret ongoing research and media reports, guide and partner with social media experts to inform communications recommendations 
  • Able to navigate a complex matrixed organization internally and externally

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
