Sales Distribution Manager I wanted by Wacker Chemical Corporation in Ann Arbor, MI to provide technical and commercial support on a daily basis to distributor partners and their customers by conference calls, written and verbal communication, product recommendations, technical service, analyzing customer complaints, monthly business variances. Provide product, market, and application training to all North American distributor organizations. "Champion" WACKER Business Teams by actively participating in BT sales and marketing meetings; implement BT strategy to distribution and help our distributors set their goals based on this strategy. Manage the opportunities program with Distributor through setting target goals based on business team objectives; joint sales calls and conference calls (including technical calls); perform training and follow-up phone calls to distributor sales reps and managers. Requires ability to negotiate independently, develop and maintain networks, manage accounts, and address basic regulatory and legal matters. Demonstrates sound judgment based on extensive experience. Works independently to achieve targets, conducting demand analysis, and/or developing concepts and/or procedures. Mentors less experienced distribution professionals. Fully remote position able to be performed from anywhere in the U.S.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent in Business or Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field and 2 years' experience in the job offered or related technical sales occupation.
Experience must include: 1) Demonstrated knowledge of silicone or nutraceutical chemistry; 2) experience with sales, marketing, or customer support including technical presentation preparation, with business analytical and business tool usage (excel, tableau, PowerPoint, SAP, Salesforce). Travel up to 25% (domestic and international) to client and vendor sites. Fully remote position able to be performed from anywhere in the U.S.
