About The Role
Crunchyroll's Corporate Strategy team is looking for an experienced Senior Strategy Analyst who brings strong financial and strategic skills, paired with a genuine passion for the entertainment industry Reporting directly to our Senior Director, Corporate Strategy, you will:
- Provide financial / analytical modeling and strategic support for evaluating potential M&A candidates, joint venture partners, and business development growth projects
- Perform due diligence, prepare presentations for senior management, and coordinate with senior executives to execute transactions and commercial agreements
- Prepare structured analysis with data visualization, strategic recommendations, and concise communication to support thoughtful decisions and stakeholder updates
- Guide complex, strategic projects that impact the business
- Monitor and support projects through their lifecycles
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses at the request of senior executive
This role follows a hybrid schedule and is based in our Los Angeles office.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or corporate development / corporate strategy
- Interest in the media / entertainment industry
- Experience with strategic analysis, financial forecasting, negotiations, and project management
- B.S. / B.A. required
About The Team
This team works closely with senior leadership and across Crunchyroll's global businesses, spanning SVOD / AVOD services, eCommerce, video games, theatrical releases, consumer packaged goods, publishing, and more. We routinely evaluate and execute high-profile opportunities across acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. Beyond inorganic projects, we also partner with colleagues in our operating business units to develop and implement organic growth initiatives in new products, services, and regions.
