What you will do

Reporting to the Director of Engineering - Enterprise, you'll join as a Team Lead to guide and shape our Enterprise data solutions team. In this strategic role, you will provide structure and leadership to a growing team of currently 3 data professionals dedicated to our largest enterprise customers. You will be responsible for driving the vision for our Enterprise data offering, building a clear roadmap, and unlocking the massive potential of the Chain, OTA, and DMO segment for Lighthouse.

Where you will have impact

• Lead and build a strong team of data analysts and engineers. You'll set the tone for innovation, teamwork, and always getting better. Building this high-performing team and domain is your first priority.
• Own the team's vision and plan for Enterprise data. You'll work closely with your Product Managers to explore, push forward, and define this area within Lighthouse.
• Become the expert on Lighthouse's data and technology. You'll find creative, scalable ways to use our data for major clients like Booking.com, Wyndham, and Hilton.
• Run experiments and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to test and validate new data products and features.
• Set clear goals for your team and domain that match our company's overall objectives.
• Partner closely with product managers and business teams, including Sales, Account Management, and external customers, to turn complicated business needs into powerful, scalable data solutions.
• Clearly explain complex data and solutions. You'll manage expectations and build strong connections with technical teams and non-technical leaders across the business.
• Help grow the team by taking part in hiring and onboarding new joiners.

About Our Team

Lighthouse is not only a data-driven company, we are a data company. The heart of all our products is data. It enables hotels to make the right decisions and fuel our analytical solutions. Being a growth company enables us to regularly attract new and interesting datasets, which can unlock new product directions. Today we process billions of data points and +100TB of data on a daily basis, containing hotels' pricing information, search data, hotel bookings, etc. All of that using modern technologies.

The data solutions team is part of our Enterprise vertical within engineering. It’s a domain and focus area we’ve established a year and a half ago, it entails:

• Teams, originally from different companies and acquisition being brought together and integrated into 2 product areas: Data solutions and Distribution.
• It’s focused on data we have, leveraging it in a different way, and using the vastness of datapoints Lighthouse can offer, to support our Enterprise customer in the best way possible.
• It’s ‘a few’ customers being served by a product roadmap. We build and we iterate.

Who You Are

• You have 3+ years of experience in a data-focused job (like Data Analyst, BI, or Data Engineer), with a strong focus on finding useful insights from data.
• You have at least 1 year in a leadership, mentoring, or management role, with a passion for building successful, collaborative teams.
• You are data analytics heavy and have a proven ability to dig into large, complicated data sets to solve real business challenges.
• You have strong communication skills and the confidence to explain complex data to both technical people and senior leaders. You have a clear opinion and a voice on strategy.
• You have a solid understanding of data querying (SQL), data warehousing, and modern cloud best practices.
• You have a strategic mindset and can drive a vision for how data can create new business value.
• You are fully fluent in English.

We Welcome

• Experience working with B2B/B2C SaaS or enterprise software.
• Experience with Python for analysis or data handling.
• Experience with advanced reporting tools like Looker Studio or Tableau.
• Familiarity with Data Engineering tools like Airflow or DBT.
• Experience using GCP solutions.
• Technologies you will work with
• SQL (Google’s BigQuery), python, GCP, Looker,Looker Studio / Tableau, terraform, and occasionally airflow, Excel, Google slides (only if necessary)
