About The Team

In addition to enhancing our current market analysis capacity, this role will prioritize partnership conversations, uncover collaborative opportunities, and identify high-value localization partners.

About The Job

We are looking for a Senior Market Analyst to join our rapidly growing team in Washington DC or Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting international market analysis to support capture and product campaigns. You will be Anduril’s expert on global defense companies, including key international primes and small and medium enterprises. You will be on the forefront of international strategic partnerships, efforts to collaborate with local defense companies, and will work across Anduril with Corporate Development and Business Operations teams to bring new projects and collaboration to life. This will require synthesizing complex market data to drive actionable insights on product and partnership strategies. If you are someone who is humble, hungry and high grit and will bring a just-get-it-done mindset to work every day then this role is for you.

What You’Ll Do

  • Conduct international market analyses to support targeted capture and inform product campaigns. You will be responsible for not only interpreting available data but for developing narratives around market creation for emerging products. • You will be Anduril’s expert on global defense companies, including key international primes and small and medium enterprises (SMEs). You’ll be responsible for analyzing market nuances to inform decisions on partnerships between Anduril and these companies to recommend how different collaborations will create value and capture market share.
  • You will be Anduril’s global defense lead to interface with corporate development, legal teams, and divisions to help shape deal contours and formalize agreements. In this regard, you will work closely with Anduril’s deal lawyers to assemble agreements that accomplish our objectives. • You will produce thoughtful, well-researched, and well-formatted presentation materials for an executive and working-level audiences. You will produce memos for internal and external executives. You will track the progress we made on deals every week and summarize into work products catering to different internal audiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Be a strategic thinker with an in-depth understanding of global defense markets and competitive dynamics.
  • Be self-driven and relentlessly proactive. You don’t need someone to tell you to “move”. You just move. We’d rather have to tell you to slow down than to speed up.

  • Be passionate about identifying and prioritizing high-impact partnerships through rigorous analytical frameworks and excited to collaborate across multiple functions to translate market intelligence into concrete business opportunities.
  • Be comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on your work. This role can at-times require comms to large groups and senior leadership.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% required. Our partners are global and it is important to spend time with them in-person.
