About the Role You’ll lead the CRM Platform team responsible for enabling bidirectional data sync between CRM systems and Highspot, ensuring seamless integration of Highspot and CRM data. Your challenges will include building infrastructure to handle massive data volumes and leveraging AI to create intelligent content relationships and personalized recommendations.
As a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Highspot, you will inspire, lead, and grow a team of creative and talented core engineers within a major product area. You’ll bring your technical expertise and proven people management skills to bear on strategic decisions about our technical ecosystem, team operations, team norms, and engineering culture. You’ll also be a key decision-maker within your product area.
The above represents total expected compensation for this role. Actual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and job qualifications.

What You'Ll Do
- Lead a team of engineers, through whom you’ll execute on the strategic direction of your product area, inspiring and motivating your team to do their best work
- Effectively collaborate with key partners in your product area, including Designers, Product Managers, and TPMs
- Uphold and build upon Highspot’s culture, ensuring that Engineering is a welcoming, inclusive place, and that we not only meet our DE&I goals but lead Seattle’s tech industry with our commitment to diversity
- Consistently deliver a product that maximizes product quality, security, and reliability and operational excellence
- Build a best-in-class CRM bidirectional sync layer capable of handling large data volumes, meeting customer SLA expectations, and delivering reliable performance at scale.
- Attract, retain, and develop top engineering talent, building a high-performing and inclusive team culture
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing visibility into roadmap progress, technical trade-offs, and organizational needs
Your Background
- 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams
- Hands-on engineering leaders who can dive into the code if needed
- Proven success in attracting and retaining top engineering talent from diverse backgrounds
- Entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality
- Previous experience designing and building systems that handle large volumes of data
- Deep understanding of the SDLC for SaaS applications
- Working knowledge of modern object-oriented and functional programming languages
- Experience building software in a dynamic language such as Ruby or Python.
