The Game Security team ensures fairness, security, and enjoyment for PlayStation players globally.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead security initiatives from concept through launch readiness.

In this role, you will bring together technical specialists, game developers, and partner teams to ensure each title ships with strong protections. Your work will help maintain player trust and deliver outstanding gaming experiences!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive and supervise security programs such as anti-cheat, Secure Development Lifecycle, and penetration testing, ensuring readiness for launch
  • Guide engineering and development teams to build alignment on goals, scope, and timelines
  • Translate technical requirements into clear, actionable plans that teams can implement effectively
  • Monitor team progress and adjust priorities and resources as needed to maintain momentum
  • Champion proactive risk identification, resolve blockers early, and keep progress visible to all collaborators
  • Communicate updates in a way that builds confidence and visibility
  • Balance multiple projects while adapting to changing priorities
  • Supply program management expertise to other InfoSec initiatives when needed

Required Qualifications :

  • Technical foundation in software development, information security, or a related area
  • Experience as a TPM or Project Lead in a technology-focused role
  • Strength in planning, tracking, and communicating with a variety of audiences
  • Skilled in JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools
  • Comfortable working with multi-functional, globally distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Background in game security, development pipelines, or related technology
  • Knowledge of penetration testing, anti-cheat systems, or reverse engineering
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows
  • Interest in gaming, interactive entertainment, or emerging tech

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
