The Role:
The Senior Business Intelligence Manager leads data strategy and analytics initiatives to deliver actionable insights that guide financial and operational decision-making. This role owns the division’s BI strategy, leveraging Power BI, Salesforce, and EMR systems to design predictive models, create advanced dashboards, and forecast key metrics. By collaborating with executive stakeholders, the manager translates complex data into strategic recommendations that drive growth, optimize performance, and strengthen organizational decision-making.
Primary Responsibilities
- Own and execute the BI strategy, aligning analytics initiatives with organizational goals and growth priorities.
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into KPIs and financial/operational metrics.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities through predictive modeling, scenario analysis, and forecasting to influence leadership decisions.
- Oversee data extraction, cleaning, modeling, and governance across Power BI, Salesforce, EMR systems, and cloud platforms to ensure accuracy and scalability.
- Validate and audit reporting systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data.
- Partner with executive stakeholders as a trusted advisor, delivering actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, enhancing scalability and efficiency in reporting and visualization.
This is a hybrid position, coming into the El Segundo office 2x per week.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Skills
- Expertise in BI tools and platforms (Power BI required; Tableau preferred) and strong SQL query development skills
- Advanced knowledge of data warehousing, modeling, integration, and governance practices
- Experience with predictive analytics, forecasting, and machine learning concepts
- Proficiency in modern data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS) and Salesforce reporting
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to clearly convey complex data insights to executive stakeholders
- Effective project management and ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
- Detail orientation with a commitment to data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
- Ability to evaluate and manage vendor relationships for BI technology adoption
- 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy, including leadership experience
- Proven success delivering enterprise-scale BI solutions and building high-performing teams
- Experience in healthcare, technology, or similarly complex, regulated industries preferred
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid schedule with regular in-office presence in El Segundo
