The Position

The Business and System Expert - Commercial Sales Distribution & Logistic is a member of the ASPIRE program in the Commercial Sales Distribution & Logistic stream. The stream member is supporting the transformational change for assigned S&D processes in scope (S&D master data, order entry and fulfilment, delivery, billing, returns and complaints...) to implement aligned and harmonized end to end processes and related systems landscape as well as enable the necessary organization in Pharma both Commercial and Technical Operations (scope includes any external 3rd party sales). 

The change combines process harmonization, system standardization, increased automation and people change management. The workstream member develops approaches ensuring single data captured at source-systems with a simplified and standardized data structure, supporting e.g. increased automation.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and skilled expert to drive the definition, implementation, and adoption of new capabilities within our global template and processes.You are reporting to the Commercial S&D workstream lead while ensuring close collaboration with the function and across other workstreams.

  • Work closely with the Product Owner of the O2C (Order to Cash) Agile teams to introduce new capabilities into the Aspire Global template based on business requirements
  • Support the ASPIRE Roadmap deployment, evaluating potential needs and new capabilities, challenging them when necessary, and coordinating knowledge transfer sessions for deployment teams to keep them updated with the Template
  • Define business requirements, translate business needs into user requirements, evaluate solutions, deliver position papers, and provide expertise for defining relevant master data
  • Ensure that the final business process and systems design/architecture meet the overall functional requirements; collect customer feedback, evaluate feasible problems, and compile improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with IT for solution definition, ensure appropriate user acceptance testing, and manage testing case, transition plans, training development, documentation, and execution
  • Present new capabilities in business community workshops or ad hoc committees, challenge the status quo, and drive resolution of identified and documented issues, performing impact analysis
  • Participate in the full technology implementation lifecycle, build strong know-how on industry trends and standard methodology in Deliver (process, systems, etc.), and support the Product Owner in all communication and change management activities

Who You Are

We are looking for a results-driven professional with strong technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive change and influence stakeholders across all levels.

  • Hold a degree in Business/Supply Chain Logistics or equivalent, with a background in Project Management, IT, or Pharma. SAFe knowledge is a plus.
  • Possess demonstrated delivery focus, execution ability, and experience with ERP projects, specifically ECC or S/4 HANA in O2C, Master Data (MDG), and authorization.
  • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels and translate 10-year requirements into design.
  • Be an individual who is deeply curious, energized by learning, open-minded to standardization, centralization, and speed, and who is capable of dealing with ambiguity and prioritizing multiple demands.
  • Possess strong knowledge of data lifecycle management, can drive organizational commitment to a data ownership mindset, and is familiar with the Aspire O2C template (strongly considered).
