Our Commercial Analyst Summer Internship

Our Commercial Analyst Placement places you right at the heart of life in one of the worlds’ leading integrated energy companies. No specific commercial experience? No problem. We’ve got plenty to go around and can’t wait to share it with you. You will be provided with an unparalleled level of support with access to buddies, mentors, and experienced line managers, as well as having a ready-made network of graduates across the business to tap into. 

The placement designed to arm you with a host of commercial and technical skills.   You could be helping to set our strategy through market sizing and competitor analysis, analysing investment into renewable, utility scale assets such as solar and batteries, forecasting our customers’ energy demand to drive operational improvements, utilising data science to better understand our customers and refine propositions.

At Centrica, we believe face-to-face collaboration is key to making the most of your internship. While we support flexible working across the business, our summer interns are based full-time, predominantly in our London/Berkshire office to maximise learning, connection, and development

What we need from you

We want you to count yourself in! We welcome people from all walks of life who bring fresh perspectives, live our values, and work in line with our core behaviours. If that sounds like you, here’s what we’re looking for:  

• Expecting a minimum 2:1 degree (2:2 if combined with a Masters)  

• Willing To Relocate

• Have the right to work in the UK 
• Available to start the scheme from 16th June 2026

Here’s what's in it for you

• You’ll be paid a salary of £24,000 (pro rata)
• Accommodation will be provided for the duration of your internship if required
