Job Description:

This is a hybrid opportunity in New YorkThe VP will lead a very large portfolio client, ensuring exceptional campaign execution and performance. You will independently manage a large team of 20-30, being a business lead and driving the strategy for each client engagement. The VP will ensure high-quality work through strategic oversight, while balancing best practices, a focus on digital innovation, and operational efficiency.You will deliver thought leadership to enhance Carat's reputation as a digital leader and will implement training initiatives to promote a culture of continuous improvement.As a member of the leadership team, you will collaborate with senior management to manage resources and foster talent. The role includes assisting with driving organic growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities and assisting management with future-proofing the business by providing feedback on market trends, needs, product development, or other opportunities. You will report to the EVP, Digital.Main Accountabilities:• Oversee client relationships, campaign execution, and independently manage/lead the team• Deliver digital (social, programmatic, search, ad ops, and retail) strategies to the portfolio and ensure cross-channel collaboration and consistency with teams across all digital platforms• Promote strategy for client engagements and provide oversight to ensure high-quality work• Collaborate with senior management to manage resources effectively• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for organic growth• Engage with clients to assess account health and set strategic goals for improvement and growth• Ensure adherence to client contracts/SOWs, helping with feedback on staffing plans• Foster awareness/education about dentsu tools and products among the broader team• Ensure the team follows defined processes for campaign management and enforce risk-mitigation controls for hands-on-keys activation work• Foster culture of continuous improvement• Have peripheral knowledge of all campaign details and be able to help team with client tactical recommendations and reporting outputs• Contribute to thought leadership pieces on a weekly basis that helps keep client up to speed on the digital landscape• Identify ways to bring automation into team processesQualifications• Bachelor's degree or 12+ years' experience within the digital industry• Experience leading large teams• Strong experience across all digital media channels and ability to eloquently speak to each. Looking for specific experience across Programmatic and Social, but Paid Search and Retail/Commerce are a big plus• History of developing positive, ongoing client relationships, with strong focus on client service• Experience managing complexity across multiple brands and interagency partners• Demonstrated ability to see “the story” or “the big picture” to lead organizational and client success• Collaborative mindset• Solutions orientated with strong critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skillsThe annual salary range for this position is $136,000 -$219,650. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.Benefits available with this position include:
