Lead UX Designer - Temporary Worker

Job Description:

• This is a temporary role starting ASAP through EOY, with the possibility to extend or convert to permanent.
• Full-time: Approximately 40 hours per week during business hours.
• Ideal candidate must have a strong UX/UI portfolio showcasing website B2B redesign with sharp, well-thought-out wireframes, quality visual execution, consistency, and strong conceptual thinking.
• Experience with Adobe AEM is a plus, but not required.
• W2 only; candidate must be located in the U.S.
• Fully remote.

We’re seeking a Lead UX Designer to shape end-to-end digital experiences across web, mobile, and commerce. This role focuses on user research, experience strategy, and interaction design, while collaborating with UI designers and developers to deliver intuitive, user-centered solutions that meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead UX strategy and design across multiple digital products, ensuring clarity, usability, and consistency.
• Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and data insights to inform design decisions.
• Create journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models that guide UI execution.
• Collaborate with UI designers, developers, and stakeholders to align design with technical feasibility and business objectives.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility standards throughout the product lifecycle.

What We’Re Looking For

• 5+ years in UX design with a portfolio showcasing research-driven design, wireframes, and interaction flows for complex systems.
• Expertise in Figma and UX tools; strong understanding of design systems and accessibility (WCAG).
• Proven ability to lead UX processes, influence stakeholders, and mentor team members.
• Familiarity with responsive web, native apps, and collaboration with front-end development teams.

Nice-to-Haves: Agency or consultancy experience, eCommerce background, and interest in AI-driven design.

The hourly pay range for this position is $37.50 - $60.82. The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
