Raytheon’s Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) strategic business unit (SBU) specializes in multi-domain integrated air and missile defense, advanced sensors, space-based systems, hypersonics, effectors and cyber solutions. Focused on program execution, business growth and the highest level of customer satisfaction, the ASDS team provides customers with unmatched capabilities of detection and sensing, command and control, and air-to-air, air-to-surface, and surface-to-air munitions to accomplish air, space and missile defense missions. Within ASDS, Space Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance is our Sub-SBU that delivers information superiority from space, multi-mission automation and orchestration, multiple intelligence (Multi-INT) and resilient operations, secure processing, and data management.
Raytheon is currently hiring for a Software Performance, Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL.) This role is responsible for managing scope, schedule, and budget across critical program efforts. You’ll provide both strategic direction and hands-on leadership, and balance technical execution with people development to drive performance and mission success. This role sits at the intersection of engineering excellence and program delivery, requiring a strong grasp of software development, team coordination, and disciplined program management.
This position is an onsite role in Aurora, CO
What You Will Do
- Cost, schedule, and technical execution
- Earned value management and status reporting
- Technical and programmatic direction
- Schedule definition and management
- Risk and opportunity management
- IPT level systems engineering
- Staff planning
- Agile and DevOps process definition and execution
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certified within 6 months of starting
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in both software engineering and leading software engineering teams
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and/or experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
- Previous experience in a leadership role with Program execution oversite
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and DevOps.
- Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain TS/SCI without Polygraph prior to start.

- Experience with program processes and activities such as program startup, Integrated Master Schedules with budget allocation, WBSs, Earned Value, EACs, LREs, variance analyses, Scrum/Agile development, and software development planning
- Scaled Agile (SAFe) experience
- Experience with satellite command and control principles
- Experience with onboarding new work, proposals, and BOE development
- Experience with satellite data processing and operations
- Experience leading major milestone reviews
- Knowledge and understanding of systems engineering functions such as TPMs, operations concept development, requirements management, interface definition and control, and technical risk management

Location Information:
The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
