Join the Manufacturing Engineering team in Durham, New Hampshire, where you'll apply your engineering skills to real-world challenges that come with performing manufacturing processes like brazing, heat treat, and machining. Each process brings unique obstacles and opportunities to innovate, from developing new processes to integrating cutting-edge technologies into our manufacturing operations.

 In this hands-on, onsite role, you'll gain invaluable experience in what truly means to bring something new to life on the production floor. This is your chance to be part of a team that transforms ideas into reality, one product at a time. This role is onsite, in Durham, NH. This role may be eligible for relocation.

What You Will Do:

  • You will work closely with experienced engineers to explore manufacturing engineering solutions.
  • You will participate in special projects that could involve cost reduction, special processes and machining processes activities.
  • You will collaborate with a capability and manufacturability analysis.
  • You will collaborate on cost estimates in preparation of new product proposals.
  • You will collaborate on the introduction of new technologies and process equipment to the manufacturing site, including machine programming and the development of new process documentation.

What You Will Learn:

  • You will learn to apply your engineering skills to real-life problems.
  • You will learn about CORE methodology.
  • You will learn about Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions implementations.
  • You will learn about brazing, heat treat & CNC machine manufacturing capabilities.
  • You will gain hands-on experience with new process equipment technologies, learning both their capabilities and how to program them effectively.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience using Epicor.
  • Experience using LEAN/5s.
  • Experience with Heat Treating/Brazing.
  • Experience with CNC Machinery.
  • Experience with Solidworks.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
