About The Role
You will be the voice of CBIA for Marketing Effectiveness Analytics in Northern Europe (NE). You will ensure NE is set-up for success in its Marketing Effectiveness journey by putting the right framework in place to measure marketing effectiveness analytics, ensuring key business initiatives are considered, helping the BU understand the outputs and offering an unbiased yet analytics-based view in the relevant forums. The role will cover all markets in the NE BU, and interact with BU and Global functions as well as Media Agencies.
This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity based in London, United Kingdom, with a start date as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ‘Measurement of Effectiveness & Growth through Analytics (MEGA)’ Framework:
- Own, Cascade and Drive the MEGA Framework (covering multiple marketing touchpoints e.g., Offline Media, Online Media, Trade, Expert and KPIs) updating it with the latest, yet relevant tools (e.g., Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), Origin) endorsed by the Global Haleon teams as well as External Agencies (e.g., Publicis, Meta, Google).
- Liaise with multiple teams on key initiatives and campaigns (e.g., Global CBIA on the annual Test-and-Learn roadmap; NE Clusters on Brand initiatives) and ensure these are included in the NE Media roadmaps with a clear view on measurement approach and KPIs via the MEGA Framework.
- Lead the NE Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) Programme:
- Act as the MMM Champion for NE by managing, driving and embedding the programme in collaboration with multiple stakeholders (Global CBIA, Media, Agencies, Brand, COMEX).
- Set up new and continue to manage recurring MMM cells in liaison with Global CBIA, ensuring models are set-up for success in terms of timing, scope, data inputs along with context, critical business questions and project team. Book key meetings and, ensure projects are delivered on time and intervene when required.
- Organise Bi-Annual Post-Results MMM wrap-ups in collaboration with NE Media and Brand to discuss long-term performance (e.g., drivers impacting sales) and recommendations that will be implemented in the short- and long-term, along with the estimated impact on efficiency and effectiveness (using the MMM Optimiser).
- Enable Thought Leadership, Knowledge Sharing and Training:
- Proactively conduct, present and socialise category/brand meta-analyses by identifying common learnings and trends seen in the MMMs and other relevant studies, and scale across NE including the tail brands.
- Promote Marketing Effectiveness Thought Leadership within NE by sharing white papers/case studies done by external agencies and cascading best practices identified by the Global teams.
- Lead the NE Marketing Effectiveness Analytics Training Agenda by conducting business-wide and targeted training sessions on the MEGA Framework, ensuring measurement approaches and KPIs are understood.
- Act as the BU SPOC for all measurement needs via the MEGA Framework, Global JBPs and other Tools.
Qualifications And Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Analytics and Measurement including Data analysis, MMM and Attribution Modelling.
- Excellent Project, Presentation and Stakeholder Management skills.
- Ability to establish relationships across functions and geographies.
- Other good-to-have skills: basic knowledge of market research tools, proactive, strong influencer.
