About The Role

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Head Mixologist to lead and elevate our bar program. This role will oversee cocktail innovation, staff training, and bar operations while ensuring outstanding guest experiences. We are looking for a beverage professional with deep expertise in spirits, cocktails, and current trends to create memorable moments for our guests.

What You Will Do:

• Beverage Leadership: Lead the creation, preparation, and service of a curated selection of cocktails,wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages in line with brand standards and current market trends.
• Menu Development: Innovate and regularly update cocktail and beverage menus with seasonal offerings and signature drinks; collaborate with culinary team for pairing experiences.
• Guest Engagement: Interact directly with guests at the bar, providing exceptional and personalized service, detailed descriptions of ingredients and preparation methods, and anticipating guest preferences.
• Training & Development: Train and mentor bartenders and barbacks on technique, product knowledge, and service excellence. Ensure consistent adherence to recipes and service standards.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain cleanliness, organization, and ambiance of the bar environment. Conduct regular audits of beverage preparation and service to ensure excellence.

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; mixology or hospitality certifications preferred
• Minimum 3–5 years of bartending experience in a high-end or luxury environment
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wines, and beverage trends
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Proficient in menu engineering to optimize beverage offerings.
• Excellent verbal communication and guest interaction skills
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States 
• Hourly Rate: $23.52
• Minimum 3–5 years of bartending experience in a high-end or luxury environment
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wines, and beverage trends
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Proficient in menu engineering to optimize beverage offerings.
