Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Collections Manager to lead our global collections strategy and oversee the entire Hospitality Solutions customer portfolio worldwide. This key leadership role directly contributes to the company’s financial health by driving process efficiency, optimizing working capital and ensuring alignment between financial outcomes and broader business objectives.
You will lead a high-performing international team and work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to implement best-in-class collections practices, resolve complex disputes and manage high-impact projects. The ideal candidate brings a balance of operational excellence, strategic thinking and people leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the global collections strategy, driving initiatives that improve working capital and overall financial performance.
- Manage the end-to-end collections process, with a strong emphasis on dispute management, risk mitigation, and escalation protocols. Accelerate resolution of contested or delinquent accounts through proactive cross-functional collaboration to ensure sustainable cash flow while preserving strong, trust-based customer relationships
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve collections policies, procedures and systems to ensure effective and scalable collection operations.
- Oversee account receivables and aging analyses, determining appropriate collection actions, identifying trends or risks and recommending uncollectible amounts for write-off in accordance with company policies and financial controls.
- Recruit, manage, and develop an international team of collections professionals, fostering a high-performance, accountable and collaborative culture.
- Partner closely across departments -including Finance, Billing, Accounting, Sales Account management and People Teams - to develop integrated solutions that enhance customer experience and internal process efficiency.
- Drive systemic implementations and lead continuous improvement projects with wide-reaching organizational impact.
- Serve as an advisor and escalation point for complex collection cases, guiding resolution strategies in alignment with company policies and strategic goals.
- Manage multiple, high-complexity projects that demand innovative thinking and operational agility.
- Contribute to budgeting and financial planning activities related to collections.
- Communicate financial insights clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
Qualifications & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in collections, credit management or accounts receivable, including leadership of global teams.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable results through collection strategies, process optimization and cross-functional collaboration.

- Strong expertise in collections, dispute resolution, risk management and working capital optimization.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to varied audiences.
- Strong executive presence, confidence and business acumen.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, managing multiple priorities with flexibility and resourcefulness.
- Passion for continuous improvement, team development and driving impact beyond the finance function.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and tools such as SQL, Business Objects or similar BI/data platforms preferred.
- Knowledge of the Hospitality or travel industry and related business models is a plus.
