The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 4 processes and dispenses or directly supports the processing and dispensing of traditional and over the counter prescription orders to be mailed to patients' homes and handles complex and/or escalated issues. The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 4 assumes ownership and leads advanced and highly specialized administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. Decisions are regarding the daily priorities for an administrative work group and/or external vendors including coordinating work activities and monitoring progress towards schedules/goals, and often oversees work of others and/or is the primary administrative owner of a main process, program, product or technology. Works within broad guidelines with little oversightThe Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 4 resolves problems related to drug interactions, dependencies, and department processes. Analyzes distribution and supports pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Assists Pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing directly or through program/process development. May contact physicians for prescriptions clarification and may enter prescription orders into pharmacy system. Complies with all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and procedures. Decisions are regarding the daily priorities for an administrative work group and/or external vendors including coordinating work activities and monitoring progress towards schedules/goals, and often oversees work of others and/or is the primary administrative owner of a main process, program, product or technology. Works within broad guidelines with little oversight.

Required Qualifications
- 2 - 4 years of experience in a retail, mail order or clinical pharmacy
- 1 - 5 years of leadership experience
- Must have an active registration/license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- National Certification, PTCB CPHT
- Experience in a mail order/distribution environment

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
