The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 4 processes and dispenses or directly supports the processing and dispensing of traditional and over the counter prescription orders to be mailed to patients' homes and handles complex and/or escalated issues. The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 4 assumes ownership and leads advanced and highly specialized administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. Decisions are regarding the daily priorities for an administrative work group and/or external vendors including coordinating work activities and monitoring progress towards schedules/goals, and often oversees work of others and/or is the primary administrative owner of a main process, program, product or technology. Works within broad guidelines with little oversight

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 4 resolves problems related to drug interactions, dependencies, and department processes. Analyzes distribution and supports pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Assists Pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing directly or through program/process development. May contact physicians for prescriptions clarification and may enter prescription orders into pharmacy system. Complies with all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and procedures. Decisions are regarding the daily priorities for an administrative work group and/or external vendors including coordinating work activities and monitoring progress towards schedules/goals, and often oversees work of others and/or is the primary administrative owner of a main process, program, product or technology. Works within broad guidelines with little oversight.

Required Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of experience in a retail, mail order or clinical pharmacy
• 1 - 5 years of leadership experience
• Must have an active registration/license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• National Certification, PTCB CPHT
• Experience in a mail order/distribution environment

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$43,000 - $56,200 per year
