Job Title: Americas Governance and Reporting specialist - AVP - Mumbai Risk Center
Location: Mumbai, India
Role Description
- As a Operational Risk (ORM) Americas Governance and Reporting specialist, you will interface across a broad range of stakeholders, and support senior leadership and board level reporting. You will work closely with global counterparts to continue evolve Americas Operational Risk Council (AORC) content and will play key role in the development of roadmap for strategic solution connecting AOFRC reporting with key components of OR Framework, namely Operational Risk Losses, Controls, Risk and Control Self-Assessments and Risk Appetite.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for monthly curation of topics and materials to go into AORC including:
- Accountable for coordination of materials and follow ups for executive forums in the region
- Accountable coordination with owners and assembly of FRB quarterly deck as well as review sessions with RMG and Head of ORM Americas
- Day-to-day activities include:
- The role will require the member to work on Americas friendly hours upto midnight IST.
- Monthly portfolio meeting to identify candidates for topics from internal and external events, issue management, incidents and material new products
- Working with key stakeholders to identify additional topics
- Managing all governance aspects of AORC: Rules of Procedure, Minutes, Action items and quality of materials
- Working with global partners to further evolve AORC standard template, agenda and content of materials
- Keeping monthly track of all ORM presentations and follow-up actions and coordination with owners for material delivery
- Extracting and analyzing operational internal and external events, findings, risk type metrics and material new products to develop initial list of agenda topics for AOFRC
- Working with key stakeholders for the business and infrastructure functions to identify additional topics for AORC
- Assemble AORC deck, perform QA and conduct review with the Head of ORM Americas for additional feedback
- Maintain tracker of executive forums and regulatory ORM presentations and follow ups and ensure that materials are delivered in a timely fashion and properly QA’d
- Running projects to facilitate continuous process improvements around data quality and reporting of Operational risk topics
Your skills and experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Visual Basic, Alteryx,)
- Bachelors degree in finance, statistics, applied economics
- 5-7 years of financial services or risk management experience, prior experience in operational risk or audit a plus
- 3+ years of experience in business writing
- 3+ years of experience in executive management reporting
- Prior experience in presenting data in digestible format to senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Excellent organizational skills to stay on top of all deliverables
