Location: Pune, India

Role Description

You’ll be responsible for empowering our customer data and activation stack – designing and building integrations into Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), operationalizing Real-Time CDP and enabling event-driven data insights – empowering segmentation, journeys and measurement across channels. Expect to work end-to-end: From data ingestion and XDM modelling to identity stitching, consent governance, activation and success metrics.

Commercial Banking Tribe

  • You’ll be joining the Commercial Bank Tribe, who is focusing on the special needs of the small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank.
  • We are responsible for the digital transformation of ~800.000 clients in 3 brands, i.e. the establishment of the BizBanking platform including development of digital sales and service processes as well as the automation of processes for this client segment.
  • Our tribe is on a journey of an extensive digitalisation of business processes and to migrate our applications to the cloud. On that we are working jointly together with our business colleagues in an agile setup and collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineers from other areas thriving to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance AEP integrations: Design, implement and maintain batch/streaming data pipelines into AEP using Source/Destinations (including 3rd party integrations), Data Prep and Adobe APIs
  • Model customer data: Define and evolve XDM schemas, datasets and class/field groups to support durable profiles and experience events; enforce data quality and governance
  • Operationalize Real-Time CDP: Configure identities, policies and profile merge rules
  • Conduct Adobe Web SDK/ Mobile SDK Implementation via Adobe Tags (Launch)
  • Enable privacy & consent: Implement consent capture and data usage labels; validate against policies before activation
  • Partner across teams: Translate marketing use cases into state-of-the art marketing tech-stack; guide stakeholders on AEP capabilities, limitations and best practices

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of proven experience as Adobe Experience Platform Engineer or similar
  • Strong knowledge of XDM modelling, datasets and governance in AEP
  • Proficiency with APIs, event streaming/batch pipeline and scripting (Ideally JavaScript)
  • Hands-On experience with Web SDK/ Mobile SDK and Adobe Tags (Launch); experience in deploying via tag managers
  • Real-Time CDP experience: identities, merge policies, profile store, segmentation performance and destinations
  • Solid SQL skills and knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g. Big Query) and one major cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
