Job Purpose
Associate Marketing Manager, Disney Consumer Products, will develop and implement marketing strategies and manage promotions / campaigns, with the aim to enhance Disney’s brand value, expand consumer touch point, and drive business growth & sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with major retail channels and campaign organizers to develop impactful marketing campaigns
- Manage commercial projects as a project manager: set a clear objective, coordinate with stakeholders, address challenges, and deliver results
- Design creative marketing campaigns to enhance Disney's brand value
- Partner with cross-functional business team (Studio, Disney+, Game, and Integrated Marketing, APAC franchise team) to execute successful joint promotions
- Manage marketing budget planning and execution.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, management or related field
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail marketing or channel management, preferably with a major offline retailer or direct-to-consumer brand
- Project management experience in a cross-functional organization structure
- Retail marketing campaign experience with major consumer brands; experience in brand collaborations, on/offline events, or BTL promotions is a plus.
- Knowledge of licensing and retail business, with a deep understanding of consumer trends.
- Demonstrated success in building relationships across all levels of an organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive results, with a strong “partnership” mentality
- Strong planning and execution skills, able to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team player and able to work under high pressure
- Problem solving skills: able to resolve issues independently and communicate solutions effectively
- Creative thinking with a passion for delivering best-in-class marketing campaigns
