What is the opportunity?
An exciting opportunity to join the Equity Research team in London, where you will be responsible for fundamental analysis of companies in the Healthcare sector
What will you do?
- Assist in the development and detailed modeling of company specific financial models and market models
- Coordinate, generate and maintain research reports, presentations and databases
- Provide research support to analyst as required
- Develop an expertise in the Healthcare sector
- Support and answer client queries as they relate to the sector.
- Support the culture and direction of RBC, by continuously looking for opportunities to broaden own experience and skill set; and address own areas for improvement and growth
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- Science-based degree or equivalent
- An interest in the financial markets
- Healthcare industry experience
- Excellent writing and communications skills
- Strong PC skills specifically in Microsoft Office applications and in sourcing and interpreting data
- Excellent focus on internal and external clients,
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines, sometimes for extended periods of time
- Commitment to task and an attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize work and multi-task responsibilities
- Self-starter - must be organized and able to work independently
- Good personal skills and the ability to work and coordinate effectively within a team environment
Nice To Have
- MBA, CFA, ACA or similar qualification.
