About The Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Finance Manager to lead the financial strategy, performance, and operations for Dyson’s Northern Europe cluster, with a key focus on driving profitability and commercial investment. This role will partner with senior leaders across the region, delivering best-in-class financial insight and leadership to enable sustainable business growth.
You will oversee financial planning, analysis, compliance, and operational efficiency across multiple markets, including Germany (the largest market in the cluster), Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Benelux, and the Nordics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial strategy for Northern Europe in partnership with the Finance Director.
- Oversee regional finance operations, ensuring compliance, cost control, and sustainable growth.
- Provide financial leadership by partnering with the Managing Director and regional commercial leaders to deliver effective financial planning, forecasting, and business transformation.
- Develop and implement commercial financial strategies by aligning targets with portfolio planning, channel mix, pricing, and investment prioritization.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team, overseeing FP&A and commercial investments.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, working closely with accounting teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and review processes.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide corrective recommendations.
- Produce and review financial models and reporting to enhance forecasting accuracy and business outcomes.
- Act as a key partner for senior stakeholders within the Northern European cluster.
About You
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a post-graduate degree in Finance.
- Extensive experience in financial leadership, planning, and analysis within complex international environments.
- Proven track record in driving financial strategy, digital transformation, and commercial investment.
- Expertise in the German market, with strong regional understanding (DACH, Benelux, Nordics, and Poland).
- Demonstrated ability to lead finance teams, influence business decisions, and manage change.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong business acumen and ability to partner effectively with senior leadership.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English, German language skills are a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of working experience
