The Role:
As a Senior, Manufacturing Systems Engineer on the Digital Manufacturing team, you are a fully qualified, experienced professional responsible for resolving a wide range of issues related to our core manufacturing systems, including MES, SPC, and LIMS. This journey-level role is central to enabling data-driven operations, where you will work independently to ensure system reliability and scalability, devising creative solutions to support manufacturing excellence across global sites
What You'Ll Do:
- Actively champion digital manufacturing at the site, assessing circumstances and suggesting variations in approach to enhance safety, productivity, quality, and compliance
- Act as a subject matter expert in site products, technical processes, and business processes, advising others on difficult matters
- Work independently with manufacturing teams on problems of diverse scope, using your judgment and interpretation to ensure systems like MES, LIMS, and SPC meet business goals
- Keep manufacturing systems running smoothly by resolving a wide range of issues, evaluating identifiable factors to devise effective solutions and continuous improvement opportunities
- Partner with global teams to independently evaluate solutions and support the implementation of new digital capabilities at the site.
- Serve as a key escalation point and site contact for digital manufacturing activities, providing Tier 2/3 support for MES, SPC, and LIMS platforms
- Lead system configuration, integration, and validation efforts, adapting existing approaches to resolve issues across multiple manufacturing sites
- Develop and maintain documentation and SOPs to build the knowledge base for Tier 0 and Tier 1 support teams
- Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and change management activities to ensure the successful adoption of new tools and processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and quality standards in all system-related activities, with your work being reviewed at critical points
What We Seek:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications in MES/LIMS/SPC systems preferred.
- 5+ years of experience supporting or implementing MES, SPC, or LIMS in a manufacturing or life sciences environment. Experience with preferred platforms is a plus
- Understanding of Manufacturing Operations Management principles and strategy
- Experience in operations of a 24/7 Manufacturing facility
- Experience with global system governance, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
- Experience with system validation, change control, and documentation in a regulated environment.
- Experience with Camline, Ignition, Critical Manufacturing, Samplemanager, Labware a Plus
- Experience with OT/Automation Platforms including Rockwell, GE, Siemens, Keyence a Plus

- Compensation: $95,000.00-$118,000.00 a year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
