The Role
Are you a leader that thrives while working with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products to clients?
This role is part of a new team, IWMS [Institutional Wealth Management Services] Platform Technology and Product Launch, that is focused on creating consistent methods for bringing our technology products to market and ensuring that the teams across IWMS are fully ready to service those products. The team will provide a level of central oversight and governance across the many concurrent activities that are happening, as well as targeted centralized program management for the largest items that require additional attention.
We are seeking a Director of IWMS Platform Technology & Product Launch, who will blend deep knowledge of the product delivery lifecycle, program management expertise, provide leadership, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive integration and adoption of new and enhanced products and capabilities into internal and client ecosystems.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required, master's level desired
- 7+ years working with product management or tech development teams, with relevant program management and technology leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience building positive relationships and collaborating within a sophisticated agile organization, ideally in financial services
- Bring a voice of influence and leadership to a matrixed team by fostering collaboration and embracing shared objectives and outcomes
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments, priorities, and needs while maintaining focus on organizational goals
- Experience partnering with business unit partners, domains, product areas, business owner(s) and technology teams to develop realistic workable iterative plans, identifying dependencies and risks and providing transparency to leadership around progress.
- Strong knowledge of the Product Delivery Lifecycle, with a key focus on go-to-market and operational readiness components
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with specific strengths in communicating with senior leaders and persuasive storytelling
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise language that resonates with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally
- Ability to enable and drive synchronization and partnership between product delivery teams and internal stakeholders for clear communication and effective execution
- Experience executing large and complex planning sessions with key stakeholders and executive leaders
- Flexibility and skill to both lead and contribute to product launch deliverables
- Experience with implementation and change management strategies to successfully introduce new products or major updates to clients
- Demonstrated self-starter that thrives in an independent, fast paced environment
- Display a growth and learning mindset to advance skills and approach work with a constant curiosity to keep current with business and client needs.

The Team
This is an excellent opportunity to join the newly formed IWMS Platform Technology and Product Launch organization and work across IWMS on the launch of new and updated products, experiences, and capabilities to our clients. This team will partner with product delivery teams, and a wide group of business stakeholders like Client Experience, Client Relationship Group, and Marketing to drive successful product rollouts. This team will focus on the collection of key product details in support of internal and external communications, partnering with business stakeholders on operational readiness needs to support product changes, centralized planning and coordination of key activities related to product rollouts, and program management of large / complex initiatives.
