Your Challenge
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of the enterprise Kubernetes and infrastructure automation platforms
- Plan and execute application migrations to on-premises and Azure-based Kubernetes environments
- Collaborate with internal infrastructure teams, vendors, and application owners to deliver platform improvements
- Drive adoption of DevOps practices by enabling self-service, secure, and scalable platform capabilities
- Ensure platform reliability, security, performance, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Oversee automation of provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and patching activities
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and provide guidance to development and operations teams
- Continuously improve the platform based on feedback, incidents, and evolving business needs
Your Profile
- University degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects (> CHF 1M budget), including full lifecycle management and cloud migration initiatives
- Hands-on familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) platforms such as VMware TKGI (Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated), vSphere with Kubernetes (VKS), and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKOS/AKS)
- Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure and automation in hybrid environments
- Proven ability to manage third-party vendors and deliver complex projects using both classic and agile methodologies
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, including financial control, reporting, and governance
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities with both technical and business stakeholders on all levels
- Highly collaborative with a talent for stakeholder coordination, relationship management, and cross-team alignment
- Fluency in English (verbal/written), German is a nice to have
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) or equivalent experience required
- Fast learner with a coaching mindset, empathy, cultural awareness, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
