Are you passionate about hands-on technical support, driving customer satisfaction, and developing high-performing on-site teams? Johnson Controls is seeking a dedicated and skilled Manager Product Technical Field Support, EMEA, to lead outstanding field support operations across the region.
Join us and manage a team of 6-8 talented field support specialists and a field coordinator, ensuring our customers receive prompt and effective assistance directly at their sites.
What You Will Do
As Manager Field Support, EMEA, you will be responsible for leading and developing our field support team, which provides on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical issue resolution for clients across the region. You will oversee both technical specialists and administrative coordination, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and support a team of 6-8 field support specialists and a field coordinator, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Ensure exceptional on-site technical support for customers throughout EMEA, including swift issue resolution and proactive maintenance
- Organize, prioritize, and delegate field support tasks, coordinating schedules and resources for maximum efficiency
- Work closely with the field coordinator to oversee administrative tasks related to service activities, logistics, and reporting
- Drive operational excellence by improving processes and implementing best practices in field support
- Act as the main point of contact for high-profile and complex customer cases, managing escalations and ensuring satisfactory outcomes
- Promote continuous skills development and training within the team
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Technical Support, and Production, to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of all field activities
- Support change management initiatives through effective communication and team engagement
Who We’re Looking For
- Technical background/degree (Mechanical Engineering or similar)
- Experience in the refrigeration industry or a related technical field
- Background in Technical Support and Warranty department
- Experience with SharePoint and SAP is an advantage (please mention this in your application)
- Demonstrated interest in people leadership; previous management experience is a plus, but highly motivated candidates with a strong desire to lead are also encouraged to apply
- Fluent in Danish and English
