Position Details

• Location: Christiana Hospital – Newark Campus
• Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMIncludes every other weekend and holiday rotationFlexibility for off-hours as needed

What You’Ll Do

• Lead and support Environmental Services staff to ensure a clean and safe hospital environment
• Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and assignments
• Train, coach, and evaluate team performance
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
• Foster a culture of pride, service, and excellence
• Collaborate with hospital departments and support accreditation efforts

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or college degree a plus) required
• 2–5 years of experience in environmental services required
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to motivate teams and uphold high standards
• Knowledge of safety protocols and hospital procedures

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift and pull objects up to 40+ lbs
• Work in hospital environments with appropriate safety precautions

Hourly Pay Range: $22.29 - $33.44This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
