Job Summary
Remediation is a key PC Lifecycle Support Service (LCS), focused on driving significant growth for HP LCS Support. This position is a WW Product Manager for the Remediation service, with the responsibility of managing product capabilities to optimize HP’s current business and leading the development of the future roadmap to ensure HP’s leadership and differentiation.
As the Worldwide Product Manager for remediation services, the ideal candidate would demonstrate unique mastery and recognized authority in relevant subject matter knowledge, including technologies, HP Service processes, PC Services market trends, Channel and Customer needs, and competitor offerings. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and criteria for achieving objectives. Contributes to the overall strategy and assists the Product Lead in setting functional policy and direction.
Responsibilities
- Leads and develops product support or solution portfolio planning over the entire lifecycle, including conformance to pricing strategies, end-to-end service delivery, new service introduction, and sales readiness and associated processes.
- Works across regions/geographies and WW teams to develop and/or implement new/enhanced services, solutions, or programs and associated processes to meet emerging customer/market needs and fuel profitable growth.
- Ensures customer / channel requirements are prioritized in HP’s product development roadmap and that customer journeys are researched and well documented.
- Represents services on product or solution portfolio core teams and provides service requirements into product development stages/phases, e.g., Product warranty support and cost analysis, Service Product Marketing content/collateral, telemetry capabilities, service onboarding, and improved IT processes.
- Partners and Consults with current business and go to market teams to help optimize service market performance.
- Develops and delivers service product training to both internal HP and external customers and channel partners.
- Performs business analysis, identifies root cause, and develops recommendations/ solutions to drive business improvements.
- Responsible for revenue and margin contribution for a set of (more than one) solutions or services.
- Provide leadership in the development, and execution of the HP Services Vision - helping customers transform their business and derive measurable business value from their IT investment.
- Utilizes technical and business skills to lead complex cross- functional activities that have a high impact on the services business.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to peers and lower-level employees.
- Typically, 12+ years to demonstrate mastery of Service Business Management.
- Advanced experience in several of the related disciplines of delivery, solution architecting or business planning prior to taking business management role.
- High knowledge of IT and services industry.
- In-depth and broad knowledge of company organization, functions, culture, HPS portfolio, routes to markets, and end-to-end processes.
- Unique mastery and recognized authority in area of responsibility. Need solid technical, and state-of- the-art functional, or business knowledge.
- Knowledgeable in PC Service strategies
- Highly developed problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, develop relationships across organizations and accomplish goals under pressure situations. Strong skills in exercising independent judgment.
- Ability to correctly design reports and interpret their output.
- Highly developed project/ program management and change management skills. Solid understanding of business planning methods and business acumen.
- Excellent presentation skills. Highly developed negotiation/ influencing skills.
- Proficient in Power BI and Excel
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in service business management, delivery, solution architecting, business planning, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $104,800 to $158,250 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
