What you’ll do here as Market Research Analyst

As a Market Research Analyst, you will contribute to providing valuable insights by monitoring market trends, analyzing market strategies and customer behaviors in digital landscapes—including SEO and online visibility—in a highly dynamic environment.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include: 

• Tracking market trends – including forecasting and market sizing, emerging technologies and customer needs, and competitive dynamics. 
• Analyzing brand positioning, communication effectiveness  and SEO strategies of different industry players, using metrics such as conversion rates, customer engagement and ROI.
• Gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing data from multiple sources (primary and secondary research, syndicated reports, financial filings, customer insights, etc.) into clear and actionable insights for marketing and business teams.
• Building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and presentations that make insights easy to understand and apply.
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders within the marketing team and beyond  to understand needs, meet their demands and drive improvements. 

This role is based in Lund, Sweden, as part of the Market Intelligence team in Axis’ Global Marketing. In this role, you will report to our Market Intelligence Manager and closely collaborate with other team members.

Who are we looking for/who are you?
We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience as a Market Research Analyst who combines core research and analytical skills with a strong marketing mindset. You thrive on analytical challenges and enjoy working with data visualization and digital tools. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and understand the interplay between data, marketing strategies, and business goals. As a person, you are curious, with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for storytelling. You bring creativity and a collaborative spirit, and will thrive here if you are proactive and autonomous, with excellent end-to-end project management skills.

We love for you to have/are:

• Experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or a related role
• Strong skills in digital research and tools, and SEO analysis (e.g. Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz)
• Ability to analyze vast amounts of data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights is fundamental
• A deep understanding of keyword research methodologies to inform content and optimization strategies
• The ability to think strategically and analyze various ranking factors in correlation to competitive insights
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting insights to stakeholders.
• Curious mind and “can-do” attitude
• Experience with research tools, market intelligence platforms, and data visualization (e.g., Power BI) a plus
• Fluent in English (Swedish a plus)
• A higher-level education in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field is desirable.
