A Day in the Life

As a Returns Lead, you will play an important part in leading the Returns team by organizing and completing all warranty, quality control, repairs and returns duties. You'll be working with products from awesome clients that are heavily involved in the active lifestyle.

This opportunity is for a duration of 12 months.

You should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and priorities that may change daily, while remaining focused on partnering with the team and discerning any potential roadblocks to task completion.

Shift : Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM

All About You

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties, follow through assignments with a minimum of direction, and be extremely detail oriented
  • Experience in leading returns personnel to ensure all assigned activities are performed effectively and efficiently
  • Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
  • Trustworthy and moral character

The Must Haves:

  • Must have 12+ months of prior warehouse experience with returns (quality control or warranty claims), experience as a Lead is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
  • Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, comfortable with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.

Things You Will be Doing

  1. Returns
  • Ensures all returns are processed within goals of service.
  • Ensures all returns are processed according to Client requirements (removal of tags, polybagged, etc.)
  • When required, source third parties for repair requirements that will not be done by NRI.
  1. Leadership
  • In collaboration with the Supervisor, communicates expectations to team members and monitors the daily performance of their area and address any potential employee issues with the supervisor.
  • Ensures there is training, cross-training and development of team members.
  • Ensures safe operations of the business specific to their area of accountability, while being vocal about safety concerns in other areas.
  • Focuses on process improvement that will drive efficiency, quality, safety and reduction of waste.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
  • Collaborates with inbound and outbound leadership on staffing modification if over or understaffed due to workload.
  • Able to communicate directly with the client or CSC when required.
  • Trouble shooting when faced with discrepancies, anomalies or transit caused issues.
