What You Will Do

As a Group Data Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the data architecture, data governance, data quality, and regulatory reporting initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders across the Group to ensure business requirements are translated into effective data processes and documentation.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Gathering and analyzing business requirements related to data management and reporting
• Designing and evaluating solutions for business requirements in collaboration with IT, development teams and business users
• Facilitating the implementation of aligned solutions
• Supporting the implementation of data governance and data quality frameworks
• Documenting data flows, definitions, and metadata
• Assisting in regulatory reporting efforts (e.g., BCBS 239)
• Contributing to the development of data catalogs and lineage mapping
• Facilitating alignment between business and technical teams on data-related topics

What You Bring

• Proven experience in business analysis and data management; prior exposure to the banking sector is an asset
• Solid understanding of data governance and data quality principles
• Skilled in translating business requirements into structured data specifications
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Croatian or German is a plus
• Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms is advantageous

• Excellent communication skills to bridge business and technical teams effectively
• Proficiency in documenting data flows, definitions, and metadata with attention to detail

• Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and regulatory reporting standards
