We are looking for a
Spare Parts Product Manager
who is responsible for product management and its commercial success. In this role, you will work with other product development, sourcing, service operations, sales and marketing teams worldwide, reporting to the portfolio director. You can be based in Espoo or Iisalmi, with the option to work in our remote office Kuopio as well.
Main Responsibilities And Tasks
Product Development
- Define the product strategies and maintain an 18-month product roadmap
- Develop parts offering to increase share of customer wallet
- Collaborate with the commercial team to define the product pricing strategy
- Manage branding concepts for both own and sub-supplied components
- Propose business case for investments, development needs, resource needs, support structures and procedures for the business's success
- Oversee product life cycle from creation to ramping down
- Enhance the spare part value proposition and the product branding
Product Sales Support
- Provide product-related internal training and sales support
- Create value proposals & sales argumentation
- Work with marketing team to develop product marketing materials and white papers
- Plan and execute the product launches
Market Intelligence And Customer Satisfaction
- Collect customer feedback and develop action plans for improvement
- Monitor market and competitor development
- Conduct market and competitor analysis
All these activities aim to improve customer satisfaction, increase the share of customer wallets and ensure product profitability.
To Shine In This Position, We Hope You Have:
- 10+ years of working experience with a proven track record of successful B2B product management
- Master’s degree in business / industrial management, engineering, economics or similar
- Technical or commercial background in the machinery industry or other service-driven industry
- Strong networking and collaboration capabilities
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Goal-oriented mindset and ability to handle stressful and complex situations
- Understanding of finance and basics of profit & loss statements and commercials in industrial business
- Willingness to travel globally
- Experience working in a multinational company and matrix organisation; international experience is a plus.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken (other languages, e.g. Spanish, are a plus)
