Job Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to directly shape how improvement culture is embedded on the shop floor — where LEGO® products come to life. It’s ideal for someone passionate about hands-on engagement, tangible outcomes, and coaching teams to unlock their full potential.

For someone who loves both people and process and thrives in making real impact where it matters most — this role offers purpose, learning, and growth!

Core Responsibilities

This role exists to drive the LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI) approach and practices specifically within Kladno manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will work closely with shop floor teams, coaching leaders and specialists to embed CI tools and behaviours while solving real-world production and process challenges. Driving engagement, fostering capability-building, and unlocking efficiencies at the ground level will be a key mission.

More specifically, in this role you will:

  • Analyse production processes with an industrial engineering perspective to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Coach shop floor and front-line managers in using LCI tools, visual management, and structured problem-solving.
  • Support operational teams in applying Lean/CI methodologies to reduce waste, improve flow, and enhance quality.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and improvement workshops on the production floor.
  • Deliver hands-on LCI training tailored to frontline leaders and technicians.

This position is located in our Kladno manufacturing site and there is no relocation assistance offered for this role.

Play your part in our team succeeding

LCI supports strategic priorities across The LEGO Group by fostering a sustainable Continuous Improvement (CI) approach, with a focus on developing capabilities to align, simplify, and improve processes. In this role, the emphasis will include applying CI in the Kladno manufacturing/shop floor context to drive impactful results.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Background in industrial engineering or similar technical field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working directly on the shop floor (within serial production teams) with operators and production teams.
  • Experience with hands-on CI/Lean implementation within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to spend significant time in the production (not desk-only role).
  • Ability to translate theory into practical, tangible change at operational levels.
  • Fluency in both English and Czech.
  • Passion for Continuous Improvement and people development.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
  • Desire to drive meaningful, sustainable change on the ground.
  • Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent field is preferred.
