About The Role:

Are you passionate about driving innovation and ensuring project success across diverse teams? We are seeking a dynamic Project Management Officer to support our national operations and help shape the future of our organization. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful initiatives and foster collaboration across regions. This is a maximum fixed term contract of 12 months or upon successful completion of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard that every meeting and presentation has a clear purpose and focuses on “what success looks like”
  • Mentor and coach Project Managers to define and track the scope, desired results, business case and overall impact. Help people assess overall impact, across functional silos
  • Plan, lead and facilitate the various innovation sessions
  • Follow-up on actions, commitments, and business impact during and after the project phase
  • Ensure we have the right number of open initiatives ongoing, considering all aspects
  • Guide people through the innovation cycle from start to finish with templates and guidelines
  • Set quality gates for presenting business cases and project follow-up
  • Ensure the right people develop the right project management competencies
  • Provide monthly status reporting on number of projects being carried out, their status, and priority
  • Encourage best practice sharing across regions
  • Track expected and created value per project

Skills And Experience:

Essential:

  • Current C-Class Drivers Licence
  • Proven ability to manage outcomes and expectations with senior business leaders and key stakeholders, Communication: very good knowledge of English is a must, as are excellent communication and presentation skills to convey a clear message to various stakeholders.
  • Planning and organisation: excellent planning skills to keep the overview, ensuring the right things get done at the right time, either by yourself or by others. You should have a proven track record as a project leader, in which stakeholder management, business process management and delivery of lasting results were the focus points.
  • People management: take a solid yet pragmatic approach on project management, action follow-up and results tracking. You have experience in working with diverse teams and culture – either from living and working abroad or from having business relations internationally.
  • Risk management: ability to track, flag and manage project risks, ensuring the project portfolio is aligned with available divisional and regional resources and priorities
  • Technical skills: you must have an excellent knowledge and interest in Microsoft365 applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Sharepoint, …).
  • Reporting and analytics: ability to communicate concisely on a regular basis to stakeholders what the statuses of various projects are, what the achievements are, what best practices should be shared etc
  • Project methodologies: a never-stop-learning mindset, always looking out for new and better ways to do project management in an international and changing organisation.
  • Patient, flexible and adaptable to changing and challenging circumstances with great problem-solving and an ability to work well under pressure
  • Display the ability of high-level strategic thinking to make decisions that are in the best interest of NPE
  • A high level of discretion and professionalism to act with integrity and always maintain confidentiality

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Management
  • Change Management experience
