Experienced School Recruitment Specialists are responsible for:
- Making contact with selected schools and school districts to discuss the study, answer questions and obtain participation
- Collecting confidential information
- Contacting, by telephone and email, education personnel at the district and school level, including, district superintendents, school principals/administrators for the purpose of gaining study participation and obtaining data collection logistics for schools participating in the study
- Explaining the study and what is required of schools for participation in the study
- Documenting all communication with states/districts/schools and project staff
- Conducting refusal conversion efforts via phone and email to convert districts and schools who may refuse to participate in the study
- Communicating with the site School Coordinator or other designated staff to obtain data collection logistics necessary for the school’s participation in the study
- Documenting all participation logistics
- Attending weekly Quality Control meetings (QC) with the recruitment team via Zoom
- Independently managing administrative duties, including participating in conference calls and completing online trainings
- Demonstrating ability to work with supervisor and maintain daily communication with project staff
- Assuming full and legal responsibility for use and care of project-issued equipment
- Submitting timely and accurate Time and Expense reports
- Must be at least 21 years old at time of employment
- Experienced recruitment liaison with a demonstrated track record of successfully securing school participation in surveys
- Possess effective communication skills through speech and listening
- Fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking
- Available for entire training and data collection period
- Able to successfully complete training
- Comfortable using RTI issued tablet, laptop, and other associated equipment
- Access to password protected WiFI connection for data transmission and administrative responsibilities
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal automobile available for business use
- Able to keep project information confidential
- Detail-oriented, think “outside the box,” and follow procedures/guidelines successfully while performing tasks
- Have access to high-speed Internet and a non-distractive location in home to conduct recruitment activities
- Proficient in MS office programs, email, internet proficient, and skilled in website troubleshooting
- Associate's degree preferred
- Positive, self-motivated, curious, and enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds
- Effective time, schedule, and workload management skills to meet set deadlines
- Effective business-to-business telephone and etiquette skills
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships
- Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills, above average vocal presentation, problem-solving abilities, and data management skills
- Experience with electronic contacting systems
- Ability to comfortably interact verbally with a variety of people, school staff in particular
- Ability to work comfortably on a computer and perform data entry tasks
- Ability to navigate school/district websites
- Proven ability to work independently and in teams with minimal supervision
- Ability to document status and assignment outcomes in web-based systems in a timely and thorough manner
- Demonstrated success in meeting frequent, multiple, and tight deadlines
- Ability to conduct site visits if located near sampled school
